Tameer Al-Janoob Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Operations Team at the Company’s Main Camp in Al Zubair, Basra.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance activities, fleet readiness, workshop coordination, spare parts control, and ensuring the operational availability of company assets in support of our Oil & Gas and Industrial Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage maintenance schedules and asset service programs.
- Ensure operational readiness of company vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinate workshop activities and maintenance contractors.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance costs.
- Control spare parts inventory and maintenance materials.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset history.
- Support fleet inspections, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare maintenance reports and KPI performance summaries.
- Ensure compliance with Company HSE requirements and operational procedures.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Proven experience in fleet and equipment maintenance operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Light Vehicles (LV)
- Heavy Vehicles (HV)
- Buses
- Trucks
- Lifting Equipment
- Other Industrial and Operational Equipment
- Experience in spare parts management, warehouse coordination, and inventory control.
- Practical experience conducting stock counts and material reconciliation.
- Good understanding of maintenance planning and preventive maintenance systems.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo ERP.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate multiple operational activities.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is highly preferred.
