Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate brings deep product knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and a genuine love for helping customers find pieces that mark life’s most meaningful moments. You will serve as the face of our brand, delivering an exceptional in-store experience while consistently achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet and engage customers warmly, building rapport and identifying their needs through active listening and consultative conversation. • Present and demonstrate fine jewelry, gemstones, and watches, educating customers on craftsmanship, materials, and value. • Guide customers through significant purchases such as engagement rings, anniversary gifts, and custom pieces with care and expertise. • Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals through relationship-based selling techniques. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up to cultivate long-term client relationships. • Handle merchandise with care, ensure proper display standards, and assist with inventory management and stock counts. • Process transactions accurately using POS systems, handle special orders, and coordinate repairs or resizing requests. • Stay current on jewelry trends, new arrivals, and brand story to speak confidently about all products. • Contribute to a positive team environment and assist with store opening and closing procedures.
Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in fine jewelry, luxury goods, or high-end accessories. • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a commission-based environment. • Strong knowledge of jewelry types, gemstones (especially diamonds), precious metals, and manufacturing processes. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to connect with diverse clientele. • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury retail environment. • Comfortable handling high-value merchandise and sensitive customer situations with discretion. • Basic proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office or similar tools. • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak retail seasons.
