Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Erbil for a Logistics Operations Specialist. The Logistics Operations Specialist will oversee and manage logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation and supply chain processes. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating shipments, communicating with stakeholders, optimizing inventory and transportation management, and addressing any logistics challenges to ensure seamless operations.

– Shipment Coordination: Organize and schedule daily transportation for goods, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal routing.

– Documentation Management: Prepare and verify critical shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.

– Operational Tracking: Monitor shipment statuses in real-time via phone and email, resolving delays or errors as they arise.

– Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities adhere to local transport regulations, donor requirements (if applicable), and company safety standards.

– Performance Reporting: Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to improve efficiency.

– ⁠Problem Solving: Address logistical challenges such as vehicle breakdowns, cargo discrepancies, or supply chain bottlenecks quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

– ⁠Experiance in logistic, supply chain field is required

– Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with logistics or ERP software.
