Logistics & Operations Manager
A leading medical equipment importing and distribution company, representing international manufacturers and providing distribution, service, and technical support, is seeking a hands-on Logistics & Operations Manager to lead and optimize its end-to-end operations on behalf of one of our clients.
This is a managerial role requiring a high level of hands-on involvement, with responsibility for overseeing logistics, customer service, and operational execution across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead warehouse operations, including inventory control and order fulfillment
- Oversee and manage the drivers’ team and distribution activities
- Lead the service lab operations, ensuring high-quality technical support and turnaround
- Manage the customer support center, driving service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate import and supply processes with international vendors, including managing relationships with freight forwarders and overseeing customs clearance procedures
- Lead and manage customer credit processes and collections
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven experience in a managerial logistics and operations role with a strong hands-on approach
- Experience managing teams of warehouse staff, drivers, service technicians, and customer support representatives
- Strong experience working with freight forwarders and customs processes
- Experience working with 3PL distribution companies
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (Priority – an advantage)
- High level of proficiency in Excel
- Good English (spoken and written)
