Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant role based in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking to immediately hire an experienced Legal Assistant with strong practical knowledge of UAE court systems, court procedures, and field visits to government authorities.
The candidate must have hands-on experience dealing with Dubai Courts, Public Prosecution, Federal Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, Sharjah Courts, and other UAE courts and judicial authorities. Applicants without relevant court and field experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling filing, follow-up, and procedural work before Dubai Courts, Federal Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, Sharjah Courts, Public Prosecution, and other UAE courts and judicial authorities.
* Conducting regular field visits to courts, police stations, prosecution offices, notary public, execution departments, expert departments, rent dispute centers, judicial departments, and other government authorities across the UAE.
* Following up on case updates, hearings, execution procedures, judgments, notices, expert meetings, and official requirements.
* Preparing, submitting, and tracking legal documents through court portals and government systems.
* Coordinating with lawyers, legal consultants, court clerks, experts, and government officers.
* Maintaining proper case records, deadlines, receipts, submissions, and follow-up reports.
* Assisting with administrative and legal support tasks as required by the firm.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Court Clerk, PRO, or similar role in a UAE law firm or legal department.
* Practical working knowledge of Dubai Courts, Public Prosecution, Federal Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, Sharjah Courts, and other UAE court systems.
* Familiarity with UAE court procedures, case filing, execution procedures, legal notices, expert procedures, and government authority processes.
* Ability to attend field visits independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
* Good communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge will be an advantage.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
* UAE driving license will be an advantage.
