Secure Delivery Management: Oversee the distribution of high-value items, coordinating with armored services and specialized security personnel to ensure shipments are protected until they reach the final merchant or client.
Team Leadership: Manage and train a specialized team of delivery associates, ensuring all staff adhere to strict quality, safety, and confidentiality guidelines.
Operational Optimization: Design and monitor daily routes using GPS tracking and route optimization software to reduce delivery times and mitigate risks associated with urban congestion.
Performance Monitoring: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On Time & Delivered in Full (OTIF), cost per vehicle, and SLA success ratios.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all shipments comply with local and international regulations, including customs laws in Egypt and across the GCC, and maintain accurate records in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with finance and legal teams on insurance coverage for precious metals and implement “fool-proof” procedures to prevent loss or theft during transit.
Job Requirements
Experience: Typically, 7 to 12 years in logistics or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Experience in luxury or premium industries (e.g., gold, jewelry) is highly desirable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI), and logistics tracking software.
Languages: Fluent command of English and Arabic is essential for coordinating across Egypt and GCC markets.
Soft Skills: High integrity, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
