Senior Support Engineer – Application Support

Experience  5+ years of experience in application and production support for enterprise systems.

Location UAE-Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities

1. Provide L2/L3 support for .NET Core and Angular-based applications.
2. Investigate and resolve production issues related to application logic, data, performance, and integrations.
3. Support microservices-based systems, including Kafka message flows.
4. Analyze logs and metrics using azure analytics to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
5. Work closely with architects, developers, and DevOps teams on issue resolution and fixes.
6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders during incident handling and RCA.
7. Prior banking applications experience is a plus

Skills

1. Backend support: .NET Core 6, Entity Framework
2. Frontend awareness: Angular 8+ (Good to have)
3. Database: Azure MS SQL MI (strong query and data analysis skills)
4. Unit Testing familiarity: NUnit
5. Unit Testing familiarity: Postman and Curl
6. Architecture: Microservices with choreography pattern and CQRS
7. Messaging: Kafka and Redhat AMQ
8. Monitoring and logging: Azure analytics and insights
9. Cache : Redis (Good to have)
10. NoSQL : Cosmos
11. IDAM : Keyclock (Good to have)
12. Good written and verbal English communication skills
