Job Title: Trainee Analyst – Investments
Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview
The Trainee Analyst will support investment sourcing and execution by collecting investment proposals, preparing investor-ready pitch materials, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders under the supervision of Sr. Analyst. The role requires strong research, documentation, and coordination skills, with regular interaction with promoters, investors, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, screen, and organize investment proposals across sectors.
Analyze business models, financials, and market data to support investment evaluation.
Prepare investment teasers, pitch decks, and detailed investment memoranda.
Coordinate with external vendors such as valuers, merchant bankers, legal advisors, and database providers.
Liaise with promoters/owners to obtain business, financial, and operational information.
Schedule and coordinate one-to-one meetings and video calls between promoter teams and investors, and maintain meeting calendar, minutes of the meetings and update the progress to all
Maintain ongoing relationships with promoters and ensure regular follow-ups and updates.
Maintain an organized database of proposals, contacts, and deal progress.
Support senior team members in deal execution and investor communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
0-1 year of experience in research, investment analysis, corporate finance, or consulting (preferred).
Strong financial analysis and presentation skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Office tools.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and follow up independently.
Attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
Preferred Attributes
Exposure to investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.
Experience dealing with promoters, founders, or senior management.
Familiarity with valuation concepts and financial statements.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
