Junior POS Technician Full Time

Job Objective

The Junior POS Technician is responsible for supporting the preparation, installation, and basic maintenance of POS terminals for clients.

Your role focuses on assisting in device configuration, providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting common issues, and ensuring smooth and efficient deployments. The Junior POS Technician works closely with the technical and operations teams to deliver reliable service and maintain high performance of all deployed POS systems.

Main Tasks

• Prepare, configure, and test POS terminals to ensure they are fully functional before deployment.
• Install and set up POS devices at client locations, ensuring proper connectivity and basic configuration.
• Provide first-level technical support by identifying and resolving common hardware or software issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and basic repairs on existing POS terminals.
• Document all installations, interventions, and issues clearly for follow-up and record-keeping.
• Coordinate with the technical and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely deployment of devices.
• Assist senior technicians during complex installations, troubleshooting, or system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Information technology, MIS, BT [Technology degree from Institute]
• 0 to 2 years in technology field and familiar with installation procedures.
• Professional proficiency in Local Language and English is required.
• Basic understanding of POS hardware and software.
• Knowledge of simple networking concepts (Wi-Fi, LAN, connectivity).
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Lebanon.
• Ability to work independently on-site and manage installation tasks efficiently.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and follow technical instructions.
• Willingness to learn system integrations and new technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
