Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight operations, managing shipment documentation, liaising with clients to ensure the timely delivery of goods, and addressing any logistical challenges. Key duties include tracking shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and optimizing delivery schedules to meet client requirements. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in logistics coordination, supply chain management, and freight operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience in customs clearance processes and regulatory compliance
- Customer relationship management and effective communication skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools is a plus
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in the logistics or transportation industry is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
