Role Description This is an internship role in Business Development based in Cairo, structured as a hybrid position that combines on-site work with some flexibility to work from home. The Business Development Intern will support researching potential markets and clients, identifying leads, and helping maintain and update the sales pipeline. Daily tasks include assisting with lead generation activities, preparing presentations and proposals, and supporting outreach via email, social media, and calls under guidance from the business development team. The intern will collaborate with the design and strategy teams to align client needs with AZAR’s services, and help prepare reports and summaries of market trends and prospect feedback. The role also involves participating in internal meetings, documenting key action items, and contributing ideas to improve outreach and client engagement processes. Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct structured market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to present findings and ideas to team members.
Interest or experience in lead generation, including researching potential clients and supporting outreach campaigns across digital channels.
Customer service mindset, with the ability to respond professionally to inquiries, support relationship-building, and understand client needs.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Cairo, with reliable access to remote-working tools and collaboration platforms.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with guidance.
Genuine interest in design, branding, and pop culture, and motivation to learn about business development in a creative industry.
