Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Specialist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Interior Design Specialist will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and produce detailed drawings and layouts for residential and commercial interiors. Daily responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure design intent is realized. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their needs, presenting design proposals, and refining concepts based on feedback and project constraints. The Interior Design Specialist will also support project documentation, assist with site visits, monitor progress, and collaborate closely with the architecture team to deliver cohesive, high-quality design solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design capabilities, including concept development and Interior Design proficiency.
• Proven experience in Space Planning, with the ability to optimize layouts for function, flow, and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of Furniture selection and customization, including coordination with vendors and fabricators.
• Experience with FF&E sourcing, specification, and documentation, ensuring alignment with design vision and budget.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with local building codes, materials, and construction practices in the UAE is an advantage.
• Previous experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects in a professional design environment is preferred.
