Interface Coordinator
We are currently seeking an experienced Interface Coordinator who responsible for identifying, managing, monitoring, and controlling all project interfaces between Contractor, Client (KJO), Engineering disciplines, Procurement, Construction, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Third Parties to ensure smooth execution of the project in compliance with contract requirements, project procedures, approved schedules, and applicable standards.

YOUR ROLE
As a Interface Coordinator you will:
Interface Management Planning
- Develop and implement the Interface Management Plan in accordance with project contractual requirements.
- Establish the interface management system, procedures, registers, and tracking tools.
- Define interface responsibilities among all project stakeholders.
Interface Identification
- Identify all internal and external interfaces during engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Maintain a comprehensive Interface Register.
- Ensure all interface points are clearly assigned and monitored.
Client Coordination
- Coordinate with KJO PMT for technical clarifications, approvals, and interface resolutions.
- Follow up on client actions affecting project progress.
- Ensure all client-related interfaces are recorded and tracked.
Engineering Coordination
- Coordinate between all engineering disciplines to avoid design conflicts.
- Monitor engineering deliverables impacting other disciplines.
- Ensure interdisciplinary design alignment.
Procurement Interfaces
- Coordinate vendor document submissions and approvals.
- Ensure procurement activities align with engineering and construction requirements.
- Monitor material delivery interfaces.
Construction Interfaces
- Coordinate site interfaces between construction teams and subcontractors.
- Manage work-front availability and access coordination.
- Resolve site conflicts and sequencing issues.
Third Party Coordination
- Coordinate with utility providers, authorities, and external contractors.
- Track approvals, permits, and external dependencies.
Interface Meetings
- Organize regular interface meetings.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
- Escalate unresolved issues.
Risk Management
- Identify interface risks and mitigation actions
- Monitor critical interfaces affecting schedule and cost
Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly interface status reports
- Maintain interface KPI tracking
- Report critical interface issued to management
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of EPC project experience
- Must have at least 5 yearsof interface management experience for industrial projects
- Experience in oil and gas/brownfield projects preferred
- Knowledge of KJO/ARAMCO project procedures is preferred
Education / Training / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in any discipline
Skills/Competencies
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of engineering workflow and construction interfaces.
- Strong schedule awareness (Primavera/MS Project).
- Document control and tracking capability.
- Risk identification and issue resolution.
- Technical and contractual understanding.
