Role Description This is a contract, hybrid role for an IELTS Trainer based in Sabah Al Salem, with some flexibility to work from home. The IELTS Trainer will deliver high-quality IELTS preparation classes, including academic and general training modules, in both group and one-on-one settings. Day-to-day tasks include designing and updating lesson plans, preparing teaching materials and practice tests, and assessing student performance in listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The trainer will provide detailed feedback, track progress, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs and target band scores. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, communicating with learners and guardians as needed, and collaborating with the team to enhance the overall training program.

Qualifications

• Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including creating structured curricula, practice activities, and assessment tools.
• Hands-on experience with IELTS exam preparation, including familiarity with exam format, scoring criteria, and test-taking strategies.
• Background in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL/TESOL or equivalent certification preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills and strong classroom management abilities.
• Comfort with hybrid teaching models, including use of online platforms, digital resources, and remote assessment tools.
• Previous experience coaching learners toward specific band scores and working with youth and young adults is highly desirable.
