We are currently recruiting for a for HSE Coordinator- Into‑Plane Operations (1 Year Contract) for our client to be based out of Dubai.
Responsibilities-
- Conduct site inspections at terminals, depots, retail fuel stations, and project sites to ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and UAE legal requirements.
- Monitor contractors’ HSE performance, ensure proper use of PPE, adherence to PTW systems, and compliance with risk assessments and method statements.
- Identify unsafe conditions/acts, issue NCRs, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and preparation of HSE reports.
- Support emergency drills, fire safety inspections, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Verify calibration and certification of safety equipment (gas detectors, fire extinguishers, lifting gear, etc.).
- Participate in internal/external audits (ISO 45001/14001, regulatory inspections) and ensure records are properly maintained.
Skills-
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent technical discipline.
- NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification) mandatory; ISO 45001, ISO 14001 auditor certification desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE inspection, monitoring, and compliance within Oil & Gas /Petrochemical / EPC / Terminals /Retail Fuel industry in UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of UAE federal HSE regulations, Civil Defense codes, and international standards(OSHA, NFPA, API, etc.).
- Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, PTW(Permit-to-Work), and emergency response.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HSE reporting tools.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
