HR Business Partner Manager – Supply Chain & Manufacturing (Kuwait)

Position Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Manager serves as the strategic people partner to the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, and related support functions in Kuwait. The role is responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives while ensuring operational excellence across a predominantly blue-collar workforce. The HRBP Manager drives workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and compliance with Kuwait labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

-Strategic Business Partnership

• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business growth, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Provide proactive HR advice and coaching to managers on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
• Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities and risks and recommend actionable solutions.

-Employee Relations & Workforce Management

• Lead and manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance concerns.
• Foster a positive employee relations climate across factories, warehouses, and distribution operations.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and labor law requirements.

-Talent & Organizational Development

• Drive talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and capability-building initiatives.
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities for both management and frontline operational roles.
• Partner with leaders to identify critical talent gaps and implement development plans.

-Engagement & Culture

• Lead employee engagement initiatives to strengthen morale, retention, productivity, and organizational culture.
• Act as a champion of Americana’s values, ensuring consistent communication and employee involvement across all levels of the organization.
• Support change management initiatives arising from business transformation, restructuring, or operational improvements.

-Performance Management

• Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, calibration, and development planning.
• Coach managers on effective performance conversations and performance improvement initiatives.

-HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor law, company policies, collective agreements (where applicable), and internal governance requirements.
• Support compensation, benefits, employee lifecycle activities, and workforce administration in partnership with HR Shared Services and Centers of Excellence.
• Monitor and improve HR processes to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree is a must.
• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, FMCG, or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing large blue-collar and multi-national workforces.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HR systems and workforce analytics.
