Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Health and Safety Officer to join our team on-site in Dbayeh. The role involves identifying workplace safety risks and implementing preventative measures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a safe work environment. Responsibilities include conducting safety assessments, promoting occupational health best practices, managing Environment Health and Safety (EHS) protocols, and providing training programs to enhance safety awareness. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge and expertise in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety
• Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) systems and practices
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualifications in occupational health and safety
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify potential hazards effectively
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations
• Proven experience in developing and conducting safety training programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
