Role Overview
The Group CEO will lead and oversee the strategic direction, growth, and overall performance of the family business group. This role requires balancing professional corporate governance with family values, legacy, and long-term wealth preservation, while driving profitability, expansion, and operational excellence across all business units.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the Group’s long-term vision, strategy, and growth roadmap
Identify new business opportunities, investments, and diversification strategies
Drive regional and international expansion
2. Business Performance & P&L Management
Oversee performance of all subsidiaries and business verticals
Ensure profitability, cost optimization, and sustainable growth
Set and monitor KPIs across divisions
3. Corporate Governance & Family Alignment
Act as a bridge between the Board, Family Members, and management
Implement strong governance frameworks and reporting structures
Respect and integrate family values into business decisions
4. Operational Excellence
Ensure efficiency, scalability, and process improvements across businesses
Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives
Standardize systems, policies, and procedures
5. Financial Oversight
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and capital allocation
Manage investments, cash flow, and risk
Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements
6. Leadership & Talent Management
Build and lead a high-performing executive leadership team
Develop succession planning strategies (including family members)
Foster a performance-driven and accountable culture
7. Stakeholder Management
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, banks, and government entities
Represent the Group in high-level negotiations and public forums
8. Risk & Compliance
Ensure risk management frameworks are in place
Maintain legal and regulatory compliance across all sectors

Key Requirements
Experience
15–25+ years of senior leadership experience
Proven track record as CEO / Group CEO / Managing Director in a diversified group
Experience working with family-owned businesses (critical)
Strong exposure to UAE / GCC markets
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
MBA or equivalent preferred

Strong financial and commercial acumen
High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
Governance and board-level communication expertise
Change management and transformation leadership

Experience in sectors such as retail, FMCG, trading, real estate, or manufacturing
Familiarity with family governance structures (Family Council, Family Office, etc.)
Arabic language skills (preferred but not mandatory)
