Project Context and Scope
The project aims to enhance individual and communal mental health and psychosocial well-being by mitigating the negative psychological impacts of the conflict and support efforts to promote social cohesion, peace and recovery during the post-conflict period. In turn, a sense of hope, solidarity and mutual support within and between communities will be fostered, potentially leading to reduced tensions, violence prevention, a restored social fabric, and promotion of long-term stability. Through the activities outlined in this project, IOM aims to prevent further distress and promote psychosocial well-being, while also advancing broader outcomes that support peace and community recovery, especially in post-conflict settings.
In line with the project needs, IOM Lebanon will be developing needs assessment reports, project activities overview, visibility and information, education and communication material relevant to the project outputs.
