## Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties, preparing technical reports, and supporting design and construction activities for infrastructure, building, and civil engineering projects.

## Key Responsibilities

* Perform geotechnical site investigations and supervise field testing activities.
* Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data for engineering design.
* Prepare geotechnical reports, foundation recommendations, and technical specifications.
* Design shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, slope stabilization, and ground improvement solutions.
* Coordinate with structural, civil, and project engineers during project execution.
* Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and geotechnical calculations.
* Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project specifications, and international engineering standards.
* Monitor construction activities related to geotechnical works and provide technical support on-site.
* Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures for geotechnical issues.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities as required.

## Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Master’s Degree is an advantage.
* Minimum 3–8 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
* Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis software.
* Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations.
* Experience in infrastructure, high-rise, road, bridge, or marine projects is preferred.
* Proficiency in software such as PLAXIS, GEO5, AutoCAD, or equivalent, GGU footing, FB deep.
* Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
* UAE driving license is an advantage.
