Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Accountant role based in Cairo, Egypt. The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and verifying financial transactions. Daily tasks include reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger management, and financial reporting
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis
• Familiarity with tax regulations, audit processes, and compliance standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Previous experience in industrial, FMCG, or engineering sectors is advantageous
• Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
