Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Office Receptionist role based at Al Murjan Palace Hotel in Jounieh, working primarily the afternoon shift. The Front Office Receptionist welcomes guests on arrival, manages check-in and check-out procedures, and ensures a smooth and efficient front desk experience. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to email inquiries, managing reservations, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs. The role also involves handling guest requests and complaints in a professional manner, processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and keeping the reception area organized and presentable. The Receptionist is expected to uphold hotel standards, provide courteous and personalized customer service, and support colleagues during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and front office skills, with previous experience in a receptionist or guest-facing role preferred.
• Proficiency in receptionist duties and phone etiquette, including handling inquiries, transferring calls, and taking accurate messages.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations, payments, and guest information.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation or hotel management systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability to cover the afternoon shift and occasional weekends or holidays as required.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and courteous in high-pressure situations.
• Fluency in English and Arabic preferred; additional languages are an advantage.
