Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and ambitious fresh auditor to join our professional audit team. This entry-level position is specifically designed for recent graduates who want to kick-start their career in accounting and auditing. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior professionals, assisting them in reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, and learning standard audit methodologies from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in introductory training programmes to understand the company’s audit methodologies.
- Assist senior auditors in performing basic audit procedures and testing financial transactions.
- Verify data accuracy by checking invoices, receipts, and bank reconciliations against ledger records.
- Help in preparing and organising audit files and documentation (working papers).
- Observe and assist in physical inventory counts or asset verification when required.
- Learn to identify potential financial risks or compliance issues during day-to-day tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant field
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles taught in university (Debit/Credit, Financial Statements).
- Good command of MS Office, especially MS Excel (Basic formulas, formatting, and data entry).
- Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot numerical discrepancies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
