Freight Forwarder Full Time NEW

As we continue to expand globally, we are looking for an experienced Ocean & Air Import/Export Specialist to join our remote team based in Lebanon.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate Shipments: Manage full-cycle ocean (FCL/LCL) and air import/export shipments, ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate delivery across global trade lanes.
• Booking & Tracking: Secure cargo bookings and monitor shipments from origin to destination, keeping internal teams and clients updated in real time.
• Documentation: Prepare, review, and validate all shipping documents including Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
• Customs & Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements across multiple countries; coordinate with brokers for efficient clearance processes.
• Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, carriers, and agents, providing proactive, professional communication and support.
• Invoice & Cost Control: Review freight invoices, manage discrepancies, and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with global operations teams and external partners to ensure high service standards and smooth execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5–8 years of experience in freight forwarding, with strong exposure to both ocean and air operations.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid relationships with carriers, steamship lines, and logistics providers.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of Incoterms and international import/export processes.
• Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Systems: Experience with freight management systems is an advantage.
• Language: Fluent in English; French is a plus.
