Financial Manager – Deputy CFO Full Time NEW

Your Mission

We are looking for a Financial Manager – Deputy CFO who will support the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing all aspects of financial management. You will have a strong focus on IFRS compliance, budgeting, financial controls, and management reporting. The role will require you to have proven expertise in financial operations, ranging from monthly closings to annual financial statement preparation, as well as budget development, consolidation, and performance monitoring.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting entries, acting as a financial control function.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare, consolidate, and monitor budgets and interim forecasts across cost centers.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, including payment schedules and bad debt reserve calculations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company accounting policies in line with the best practices and IFRS standards.
• Support the implementation, setup, and continuous development of financial systems and software.
• Collaborate with non-financial departments, providing guidance on budgeting, cost control, and financial matters.

Your Profile

To be successful at this position, we think you should to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting standards, and IFRS principles.
• Experience in cost allocation and financial analysis across cost centers.
• Proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ability to work effectively with large data sets and present structured, meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
• Advanced data management and financial systems knowledge is an advantage.
