The Field Senior Manager leads the IRC’s response efforts in the BML-South, including providing operational oversight of all program centers and shelters, and management guidance to ensure efficiency, coverage and quality programming. As the IRC’s most senior representative in the field, the Field Senior Manager must bring a senior leadership profile with a proven track record in managing emergencies and displaced populations programming. The successful candidate should be able to represent IRC with partners including beneficiaries, donors and community leaders, as well as handle sensitive, complex issues in a diplomatic way that puts the needs of the beneficiaries first.
This includes direct management of field level support staff, while supporting day-to-day management and coordination of program staff (Management in Partnerships with the relevant Program Coordinators). She/ He will be responsible for ensuring the effective and dynamic running of the project sites, provide guidance for operations and as well as regional coordination and representation within the area of operation. The Senior Field Manager will also lead and accompany field visits done by Country Program visitors including international donors in managed areas as needed and requested.
