Position Summary:
The F&B Service Operations Assistant provides essential instructional and operational support to the Course Coordinator for Food and Beverages. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the seamless execution of academic sessions by managing the preparation, setup, and maintenance of all necessary tools and equipment. Additionally, the Assistant provides hands-on operational support during the service phase of faculty events, ensuring that all activities adhere to professional hospitality standards and strict student grooming codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Support & Equipment Preparation
· Prepare and organize all tools, materials, and classroom setups required for service sessions and practical labs.
· Assist the Course Coordinator and Service Instructors in the delivery of both practical and theoretical course content.
· Manage the inventory and ensure the proper handling and routine maintenance of all service-related equipment.
· Support students during practical applications and simulations to ensure they follow instructional guidelines and safety protocols.
Event Service & Operational Coordination
· Provide direct hands-on assistance and operational support during the service operations of faculty events.
· Coordinate the setup, service flow, and breakdown of service areas for special functions and practical exams.
· Oversee the logistics related to service sessions to ensure operational efficiency.
Student Supervision & Compliance
· Enforce strict hospitality grooming codes and hygiene standards (uniforms, hair, and professional appearance) as a prerequisite for entry onto the service floor.
· Assist the instructor in monitoring student performance and adherence to institutional standards during live service.
· Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of student participation and practical evaluation outcomes.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management.
· 1–2 years of operational experience in food and beverage service.
· Full proficiency in English, Arabic; French is a plus.
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Familiarity with hospitality service equipment.
· High level of reliability, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with supporting academic training environments.
· Experience in event service support and high-pressure hospitality functions.
