Fashion PR & Marketing Assistant
Location: Beirut
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and reporting to the PR Manager with planning, managing and implementing various internal and external communications and strategies. Additionally, they will be responsible for sample borrowings, tracking, and gifting for luxury brands
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with fashion clients, maintaining clear day-to-day communication with clients and the press office.
- Liaise with top-tier domestic and international publications and stylists.
- Disseminate pitches to all press outlets.
- Oversee and maintain work within a given budget.
- Schedule desk showroom/studio visit appointments with editors/influencers/media
- Monitor all outlets for secured clippings and coverage.
- Send weekly and monthly reports that list all activities.
- Maintain press lists of editors, bloggers, stylists, influencers and tastemakers for fashion shows and events, and create detailed status reports to be updated daily.
- Fulfill sample requests and execute day-to-day sample trafficking.
- Facilitate custom commission projects. Maintain the in-house database.
- Responsible for sample borrowings, tracking and gifting for luxury brand stores in Dubai and Beirut
- Manage events for assigned clients, from pre-event planning to post-event coverage.
- Secure attendees, manage guest lists and RSVPs and execute post-event coverage.
Requirements:
- Strong relationships with fashion editors.
- Languages: Fluent in English and/or Arabic; Italian is a plus
- Experience in fashion public relations, including client communication and reporting structures.
- Excellent written and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and operate under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of the fashion industry.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft programs and Fashion GPS for samples and events.
