Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Facilities Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, ideal for candidates with a strong background in construction. The Facilities Manager will oversee facility operations, coordinate building maintenance and repairs, manage budgets, and ensure safety standards and compliance. The role includes supervising contractors, implementing preventative maintenance plans, and conducting regular inspections of the premises. Collaboration with various teams, including engineering and construction teams, is essential to optimize facility operations and meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction project management, site supervision, and contractor coordination
- Proficiency in building maintenance, repair management, and preventative maintenance planning
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and reporting
- Strong budgeting, organizational, and resource allocation skills
- Proficiency in BIM software, AutoCAD, or other relevant construction and design tools
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and manage on-ground team operations effectively
- Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills
- Relevant degree or certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or Facilities Management
- Prior experience in facilities management within the architectural, construction, or engineering industries is advantageous
