🎯 The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Environmental Economist to analyze environmental and economic issues, evaluate sustainability initiatives, and provide evidence-based recommendations that support strategic and policy decisions.

You will work on projects involving climate change, natural resource management, environmental policy, sustainability, and economic impact assessment.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Conduct economic analysis of environmental and sustainability-related issues
• Evaluate the costs, benefits, and impacts of environmental policies and programs
• Develop economic models related to climate change, energy, natural resources, and sustainability initiatives
• Analyze environmental data, economic trends, and policy outcomes
• Support environmental impact assessments and sustainability studies
• Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, presentations, and research findings
• Conduct market and regulatory research related to environmental economics
• Collaborate with scientists, policymakers, sustainability professionals, and business stakeholders
• Monitor developments in environmental regulations, carbon markets, and sustainability frameworks
• Provide recommendations that support sustainable economic and environmental outcomes

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Environmental Economics, Public Policy, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• 3–7+ years of experience in environmental economics, sustainability consulting, policy analysis, economic research, or related roles
• Strong understanding of economic theory, quantitative analysis, and environmental policy
• Experience with economic modeling, forecasting, and impact assessment methodologies
• Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools such as Excel, R, Python, Stata, SPSS, or similar software
• Knowledge of climate policy, carbon markets, ESG frameworks, and sustainability reporting is advantageous
• Strong research, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English
• Ability to translate complex economic findings into actionable insights for stakeholders
