Role Description The English Language Teacher will deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons to learners at various proficiency levels, following the institute’s curriculum and academic standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Erbil and involves preparing lesson plans, designing classroom activities, and assessing student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams. The teacher will provide constructive feedback, support learners individually and in groups, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Daily responsibilities also include tracking attendance and performance, participating in academic meetings and trainings, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to work effectively with diverse learner profiles.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education methodologies, including creating structured, goal-oriented lesson plans and assessments.
• Excellent Communication skills, both spoken and written, for clear instruction and effective interaction with students and colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA) are a plus.
• Previous experience teaching English in a classroom setting, preferably in language institutes or schools.
• Ability to manage classrooms, use a variety of teaching resources and technologies, and adapt to different learning styles.
