Embedded AI Software Group Manager Full Time NEW

A global technology leader combining the agility of a startup with the stability of a major semiconductor player is seeking a visionary and technically strong Embedded AI Software Group Manager.

The software organization is dedicated to building cutting-edge embedded software and optimization engines for AI and Vision applications. Enabling innovations in Augmented Reality, 3D processing, and Generative AI.

This role combines the worlds of Embedded, Semiconductors, and Algorithm Development (Real-time). Leading the core technology connecting the AI world to the Hardware world.

As the Group Manager, you will lead the development of our next-generation AI Software Optimization Stack. This technology is the cornerstone of our offering, empowering customers to map and execute complex Neural Networks across our proprietary architectures with extraordinary efficiency.

You will lead a group of talented engineers and Team Leaders working across domains such as graph-level transformations, operator mapping, scheduling, and automated code synthesis.

We are seeking a visionary and technically strong leader to drive impact in one of the most fascinating areas of Deep Learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative AI execution flows, from high-level graph optimizations down to hardware-specific backend layers.
• Build and guide a large group: Manage Team Leaders and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate globally: Work closely with Hardware Architecture, VLSI, and Software Framework teams to ensure seamless integration and maximum silicon performance.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the software stack components while meeting performance KPIs.
• Define and drive optimization strategies for complex Deep Learning workloads.
• Establish and execute group planning processes to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience leading software development teams (Must include managing Team Leaders and groups of engineers).
• Strong technical background in Software Engineering (C++ and Python).
• Proven ability to deliver complex software projects on time and with high quality.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a global environment.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams with a strong “can-do” culture.

Advantages:

• Deep understanding of Embedded Systems and heterogeneous architectures (CPU, DSP, NPU, memory hierarchy).
• Experience with Performance Tuning, parallelization, and runtime systems.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) or deep learning execution flows.
• M.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or Engineering.
