Electrical Testing Section Head – Cables Full Time NEW

As part of our continuous growth and expansion, Etihad Group is currently establishing a major cable manufacturing plant producing all types of Cables with a production capacity of 12,000 tons per month.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Testing Section Head to join our team and lead the Electrical Testing Laboratories within the new factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all electrical testing activities for cable products.

• Lead the operation of electrical testing laboratories and ensure compliance with international standards.

• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely execution of routine and type tests.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Technical teams to maintain product quality and process efficiency.

• Monitor testing equipment calibration, maintenance, and laboratory performance.

• Lead, coach, and develop the laboratory testing team.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with quality systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.

• Strong experience in cable manufacturing and electrical testing laboratories.

• Solid knowledge of IEC and international cable testing standards.

• Leadership experience in managing technical/laboratory teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
