About the Role
aDispatcher is looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Research Specialist to join our growing retail team on-site in Cairo. In this role, you’ll generate actionable insights that shape our online product strategy — from tracking market trends to decoding customer behavior. What You’ll Do
- Monitor competitors’ pricing, promotions, and product assortment regularly and compile structured reports
- Research market trends and identify growth opportunities within the retail and e-commerce landscape
- Analyze product categories to spot gaps, high-demand items, and underperforming SKUs
- Study customer behavior, shopping patterns, and purchase data to surface actionable insights
- Assist in building research frameworks, templates, and databases for ongoing tracking
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate research findings into strategy
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in e-commerce, market research, or a similar role
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn raw data into clear insights
- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with tools like SimilarWeb, SEMrush, or GA is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills in Arabic and English
- Proactive self-starter who can manage multiple research tasks independently
