Position: Dog Trainer / Handler

A private VIP family/property in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly qualified Veterinary Assistant and experienced Dog Handler to oversee the care, training, and medical management of their dogs.
Key Responsibilities
Pet Care & Handling
Ensure the daily care and well-being of all dogs.
Feed, groom, exercise, and monitor the pets’ overall health.
Maintain kennels and pet living areas to the highest standards.
Accompany dogs during walks and outdoor activities.
Dog Training
Conduct daily obedience and behavioural training sessions.
Assess and monitor behaviour, implementing corrective training when necessary.
Maintain consistent training routines and records.
Veterinary Responsibilities
Monitor and administer medications as prescribed.
Maintain accurate medical records, vaccination schedules, and pet passports.
Accompany pets to veterinary appointments and medical emergencies.
Review veterinary reports and communicate findings to the employer.
Ensure all health and welfare standards are maintained.
Requirements:
Professional Dog Training certification (Veterinary Background) and experience are mandatory.
Proven experience working with dogs in a professional capacity.
Strong understanding of canine behaviour, health, and welfare.
Ability to travel with pets when required.
Excellent record-keeping and communication skills.
Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.
Must be currently residing in the UAE.
Must be available for a personal interview.
