The Department of Finance – Abu Dhabi (DoF) plays a central role in public finance, supporting fiscal sustainability, governance, and long-term resilience and prosperity of the Emirate. At the core of this is a strong focus on connecting our people at DoF to the impact of their work and the role they play contributing to the Abu Dhabi’s fiscal sustainability.

We are looking for a Director – Internal Communication to lead how we connect people to purpose, strengthen alignment, and elevate the employee experience across DoF.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Design and deliver purpose-led communication strategies that bring DoF’s impact to life
• Lead high-impact internal campaigns that drive alignment with organizational priorities and leadership vision
• Partner closely with leadership to enhance visibility, clarity, and engagement across the organization
• Develop frameworks and tools that strengthen employee experience and organizational connection
• Leverage insights and feedback to continuously optimize communication effectiveness
• Introduce innovative and forward-looking approaches, including the use of digital tools and emerging technologies

What we’re looking for:

• 8–12 years’ experience in internal communications, change management, or employee engagement
• Proven ability to deliver strategic communications and alignment initiatives
• Strong editorial judgement and storytelling skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, media, PR, or a related field
