About the Role

Union Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Planning & Demand Manager to lead procurement planning, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization across the group. The role combines supply chain leadership with full accountability for landed cost and customer invoicing accuracy, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and reliable product flow from our principals and suppliers to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Team leadership: Lead, develop, and oversee a team of planning and procurement specialists responsible for purchasing and the planning of purchases from our suppliers and principals.
• Demand & inventory planning: Drive demand forecasting and supply planning to maintain healthy, optimized inventory levels — minimizing both stock-outs and excess or obsolete stock.
• Global supply chain & Incoterms: Apply strong knowledge of global supply chain operations and Incoterms to plan shipments and optimize freight, logistics, and shipping costs.
• Customer invoicing: Oversee the customer invoicing process, ensuring accuracy of the landed cost calculation and the invoice price charged to customers.
• Cost & pricing integrity: Own the integrity of landed cost and customer pricing, ensuring they are accurate and consistently support the group’s target profitability.
• Goods & supplier claims: Manage the receipt and movement of goods, and lead the process for claiming and recovering credit notes due from suppliers and principals.
• Performance management: Define and track KPIs across planning accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and logistics cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or procurement — preferably within pharmaceutical or healthcare distribution.
• Solid command of Incoterms, international shipping, and import/customs processes.
• Proven team leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with ERP and inventory management systems.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and/or French an advantage.
