Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst Full Time NEW

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor approved internal and external threat intelligence feeds, advisories, OSINT sources, and sector-specific intelligence.
• Identify, collect, document, and assess threats relevant to the organization’s systems, services, and risk exposure.
• Analyze Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), malware behavior, attack vectors, and emerging threat campaigns.
• Validate, enrich, and prioritize threat intelligence based on relevance, reliability, and potential business impact.
• Provide actionable intelligence and IOCs to support Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, alert enrichment, detection enhancement, and threat hunting activities.
• Review and validate detection coverage, monitoring effectiveness, and IOC relevance.
• Assess active exploitation trends and sector-specific threats to support vulnerability prioritization and cyber risk reporting.
• Support security incident investigations through threat intelligence analysis and contextual insights.
• Prepare periodic and on-demand threat intelligence reports, threat landscape assessments, and executive-level updates.
• Escalate high-risk threats, active exploitation indicators, and critical intelligence findings in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• CompTIA CySA+ (or equivalent cybersecurity analysis certification)

Preferred:

• OSINT Certification
• Intelligence Analysis Certification

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Analysis, or related cybersecurity functions.
• Experience working with Windows, macOS, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity governance, risk management, or compliance functions is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
• MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• Cyber Kill Chain
• Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis
• Knowledge of threat intelligence lifecycle and threat monitoring methodologies.
• Familiarity with IOC analysis, malware intelligence, and threat hunting concepts.

Governance & Compliance Knowledge

Experience or familiarity with:

• ISO 27001
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• PCI DSS
• CBK CORF
• SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP)

Reporting & Communication

• Ability to produce clear, risk-focused intelligence reports and presentations for technical and management stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Language Requirements

• English – Professional proficiency (Mandatory)
• Arabic – Professional proficiency (Preferred but not mandatory)
