We’re Hiring | Cyber Systems Engineer | Lod, Israel
Join the Conversion & Upgrade Plant within the Aviation Division and take part in developing advanced cyber protection solutions for mission computers and communication systems on combat platforms for the Israeli Air Force and international customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define, specify, and write cybersecurity requirements for hardware, software, and infrastructure
• Lead system engineering activities including design reviews (PDR, CDR)
• Perform system integration and testing in laboratory and operational environments
• Develop acceptance test procedures (lab and flight)
• Define flight test requirements and analyze results
• Support the full project lifecycle: development, testing, flight trials, serial production, and customer delivery
• Ensure compliance with project milestones, quality, and performance targets
• Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical & Electronics Engineering – mandatory
• Experience in defining, developing, and verifying cybersecurity requirements for military or civilian systems – mandatory
• Experience in network security and secure communication protocols – mandatory
• Strong technical English (reading, writing, speaking) – mandatory
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – advantage
• Experience with military avionics systems, interfaces, and standards – significant advantage
• Background in Israeli Air Force roles (avionics systems engineering / flight testing / technical-operational roles) – advantage
• Experience in development and integration of multidisciplinary systems (preferably avionics) – advantage
• Certifications such as CISM / CISSP – advantage
