Job Purpose:
This function focuses on e&’s practices, processes, products and procedures and ensures they are ethical, sustainable and environmentally friendly and in doing this ensures its commitment towards the society and its keenness to have a sustainable positive impact. It also implements the e& Group’s global sustainability plans and targets for the net zero emission the GCEO pledged for in 2024.
The CSR and Sustainability office assumes functions such as non-financial reporting, environmental and non-financial “due diligence,” the relationship with global and local NGOs, and the attention of collectives in risk of exclusion.
Job Description:
1. Support in executing sustainability activities within the company
2. Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders on the Group Sustainability project
3. Contribute to gathering information to ensure the company yearly Sustainability Report is completed and published in a timely manner.
4. Ensure communication of all milestones in the sustainability and CSR fronts.
5. Contribute to implementing and coordinating all CSR initiatives designed to have a positive impact on the local communities.
6. Contribute to yearly CSR plan, reporting, and maintaining strategic relations with partner NGOs.
7. Manage the Charitable Giving budget to ensure budget is adhered to and maximize returns and benefits, with payments are made in a timely manner.
8. Regular reporting of activities, ensuring communication is done effectively internally and externally
9. Work with other functions (especially HR) on availing ideas for increasing employee engagement
