Required to join a manufacturer of construction chemicals. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities
1. Product Costing & Variance Analysis
Standard Costing: Setting benchmark costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
Variance Investigation: Identifying causes for budget deviations
BOM Integrity: Collaborating with engineering to ensure the Bill of Materials matches actual production.
2. Inventory & Asset Management
WIP Monitoring: Tracking unfinished goods to prevent capital from being tied up on the factory floor.
Cycle Counting: Reconciling physical stock with ERP data to eliminate “phantom inventory.”
Obsolescence: Identifying and managing slow-moving stock to minimize financial loss.
3. Operational Budgeting
Operating Budgets: Creating and managing annual spending plans for manufacturing units.
CAPEX Evaluation: Calculating the Return on Investment (ROI) for new machinery or automation projects.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
A degree in a relevant subject Accounting, Industrial
3-8 year experience working as a Cost Controller within a manufacturing environment
Good communication and reporting skills
