Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Consultant within the Business Valuations & Deals Advisory team at BDO Saudi Arabia.
In this role, you will be a core execution pillar for complex valuation engagements across diverse industries in the Kingdom. You will specialize in translating raw corporate data into sophisticated financial models and high-impact client deliverables. Your daily responsibilities will revolve around rigorous corporate finance analysis, market and industry research, and collaborating with cross-functional deal teams to deliver robust, defensible valuation reports for M&A, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling: Build, update, and sensitize detailed, robust financial models (DCF, trading multiples, transaction multiples, and asset-based approaches) to support business va
luations.
Report Generation: Draft comprehensive, boardroom-ready valuation reports and pitch decks in PowerPoint, translating complex financial metrics into structured, visually engaging na
rratives.
Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive industry research, macroeconomic analysis, and guideline public company benchmarks to support valuation assumptions and growth pro
jections.
Engagement Execution: Assist in managing the day-to-day execution of valuation assignments, ensuring compliance with international valuation standards (IVS) and BDO’s internal quality be
nchmarks.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with virtual and on-site teams across different locations to deliver seamless client service in a remote work env
ironment.
Qualifications & Skills
Professional Credentials: Must hold a professional accounting or finance qualification, such as an Indian Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CFA charter/candidate (or equivalent global professional qualification).
Experience: 1 to 3 years of dedicated experience in business valuations, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
services.
Technical Core: A strong, proven suit in financial modeling with advanced Excel capa
bilities.
Presentation Mastery: Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint, with a sharp eye for structuring data, visual alignment, and professional r
eporting.
Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret volatile financial data and confidently defend valuation ass
umptions.
Communication: Fluent professional business writing and verbal communication skills to interact seamlessly with internal teams and
clients.
Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related busine
ss field.
