The fund is actively evaluating investment opportunities in construction robotics and advanced construction technologies, targeting solutions with strong scalability across large-scale infrastructure and real estate developments in the region.

Position: Construction Robotics Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Private Equity Advisory

Location: GCC / MENA (Remote with regional engagement)

Mandate Overview

Objective: Advise our Private Equity fund in selecting and investing in the most viable construction robotics company for the MENA/UAE market.

Focus Area: Evaluating the regional product-market fit of broad construction robotics categories (e.g., automated finishing tasks, structural/masonry automation, autonomous site audit/surveying, 3D printing).

Key Responsibilities

The selected Expert will work closely with the Private Equity investment team to:

• Assess Market Relevance: Evaluate whether a target robotics company’s technology solves genuine, high-priority pain points in the UAE/MENA construction ecosystem (e.g., extreme weather conditions, specific labor dynamics, and regulatory compliance).
• Advise on Buying Behavior: Provide deep insights into how MENA-based contractors and developers evaluate, procure, and adopt new capital equipment and disruptive technologies.
• Validate Product-Market Fit: Map the target company’s product offerings (finishing, structural, or surveying robots) against the actual project pipelines and design standards prevalent in GCC mega-projects.
• Leverage Industry Network: Conduct client calls, validate assumptions, or facilitate pilot-testing feedback through an established network of regional Tier-1 contractors and developers.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Must-Have Criteria:

• 10+ Years of Experience: A proven track record of leadership or senior operational roles within the MENA/UAE construction market.
• Deep Contractor Insight: Intimate familiarity with contractor procurement psychology, capital expenditure (CapEx) buying behavior, and the precise criteria regional builders use to evaluate construction equipment.
• Extensive Local Network: An active, high-level network of decision-makers (CEOs, COOs, Procurement Heads, Innovation Directors) across MENA-based developers (e.g., Emaar, Aldar, Roshn) and Tier-1 contractors.
• Tech-Forward Perspective: While a robotics background is not strictly required, the candidate must be familiar with construction technology broadly.
