Construction Manager (Civil)
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Civil to lead and deliver large-scale oil and gas EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site civil construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and HSE standards.

YOUR ROLE
As a Construction Manager (Civil) you will:
- Lead and manage all civil construction activities for oil & gas EPC projects from mobilization to commissioning
- Oversee site execution, construction planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE, quality, and contractual requirements
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project controls, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Review and approve construction methodologies, work packs, and execution plans
- Monitor progress, productivity, and cost control; implement corrective actions as required
- Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely and efficient execution
- Proactively identify and mitigate construction risks and interface issues
- Report project status, milestones, and risks to senior project leadership
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of total construction experience
- Must have at least 5 years experience in a Construction Manager role within the Oil and Gas industry
- Proven experience working in EPC projects
- Experience working in multicultural project environments
- Proven track record managing large-scale civil works (foundations, concrete, earthworks, underground utilities, structures, etc.)
Education / Certifications / Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are highly desirable
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of international construction standards, codes, and HSE practices
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
