Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role at SRN Mechanical Services is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and materials, performing machine offsets and adjustments, and ensuring that parts meet quality and dimensional standards. The role involves routine inspection of finished parts, basic machine maintenance, and accurate documentation of production data. The CNC Machinist will collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to optimize machining processes, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and quality. Qualifications
Proficiency in machine operation and safe use of CNC machinery.
Hands-on experience in machining and milling for precision component manufacturing.
Strong understanding of quality control practices and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Familiarity with different types of industrial machinery and basic maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Vocational diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of CNC programming, offsets, and tool selection is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site production environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
