Job Overview
AX Coin (a member of AXG) is the first and only licensed stablecoin issuer under the regulation of the Central Bank of Bahrain. We are seeking a Bahrain-based Compliance Assistant to support the robust regulatory adherence and fast-paced operational execution of our stablecoin infrastructure, wallet deployments, and regional financial services.
This is a hands-on execution role — not a strategy-only one. We are looking for someone with a strong can-do attitude, high ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compliance support at speed.
Key Responsibilities
1.Assist in executing regulatory compliance rollouts for stablecoin, wallet, custody, and API infrastructure in Bahrain and across regional markets.
2.Support the compliance setup, day-to-day monitoring, implementation testing, and go- live readiness of digital products.
3.Work alongside internal and external teams, fintechs, payment companies, and compliance partners on onboarding, due diligence, and KYC/AML integrations.
4.Support the alignment and deployment of group-wide compliance frameworks and policies locally and regionally.
5.Maintain practical compliance trackers and documentation to help launch real market use cases safely within regulatory boundaries.
6.Drive strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and execution discipline for all regulatory and reporting deadlines.
Key Requirements
1.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Criminology, or a related field.
2.Fresh graduate or 0-1 year of internships/entry-level experience in financial services, legal research, or compliance.
3.A strong interest in financial regulations. Conceptual familiarity with the CBB Rulebook or Bahrain’s Decree Law No. (4) of 2001 (Anti-Money Laundering) is a major plus.
4.Academic exposure to basic AML/CFT principles or corporate governance is highly desirable.
5.A clear conceptual understanding of digital wallets, how blockchain transparency works, and what stablecoins are.
6.Passionate about the Web3 space. Any academic research or basic certifications in blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs) will make you stand out.
7.Excellent written and verbal English skills are required for internal /external teamwork and report drafting. Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is a highly valued advantage for interpreting local regulatory structures.
8.Strong regulatory-conscious and digital background with an execution-first mindset.
9.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with direct exposure to senior leadership.
10.Must have legal authorization to work in Bahrain.
