Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commis Chef Level 3, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Commis Chef will assist in preparing high-quality dishes across various sections of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting senior chefs, maintaining cleanliness and organization, preparing ingredients, and delivering consistent quality in food preparation. The individual will also contribute to an efficient and collaborative kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
• Experience in maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety practices
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling and storage standards
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to various tasks and kitchen sections
• Excellent time-management abilities and attention to detail
• Relevant culinary certifications or a diploma in hospitality management is preferred
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment is an advantage
