About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing initiatives across brand, digital, and campaign activities. The successful candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies that support business growth, strengthen brand visibility, and drive audience engagement. This is a hands-on role working closely with leadership, sales, design, communications, and external partners to build clear, effective, and measurable marketing programs.
Responsibilities
Lead research and concept development for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
Identify, commission and cultivate relationships with creative partners, agencies, vendors, and media contacts.
Produce marketing copy, campaign briefs, brand materials, press materials, and content that communicate key messages clearly.
Develop campaign timelines, production briefs, and coordinate delivery with internal teams and external vendors.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and supplier/contractor relationships.
Organize accompanying marketing activities: launches, events, workshops, promotions, and supporting materials.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and effective presentation of brand and campaign messaging.
Oversee documentation, photography, and archival records for each campaign or initiative.
Support fundraising, proposals, and partnership applications by preparing research summaries and marketing plans.
Monitor audience feedback and campaign impact; refine strategies to increase reach, engagement, and performance.
Qualifications
Minimum BA/MA in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field; PhD or equivalent research experience preferred.
At least 3–5 years marketing or research experience in a company, agency, startup, or equivalent professional setting.
Demonstrable interest in and familiarity with marketing topics (brand strategy, digital marketing, content planning, campaign management) — deep technical expertise is not required, but proven ability to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential.
Strong research, writing and editorial skills — able to produce clear, engaging marketing and business materials.
Project management experience: budgets, timelines, supplier coordination and logistics.
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building cross-disciplinary collaborations between marketing, sales, design, and leadership teams.
Experience programming public talks, workshops, events, or education activities.
Commitment to accessible presentation and ethical engagement with brand and marketing content.
Portfolio or track record of marketing campaigns, projects, or related work (links or PDF).
Fluency in English; additional languages an asset.
