Civil Maintenance Supervisor – Al Safi Danone (ASD)

Role Summary
The Civil Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all civil maintenance activities across farm facilities and infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, maintaining buildings and structures in good condition, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Key Accountabilities
Maintenance Planning
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for civil maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and priorities to support operational requirements.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Civil Maintenance Operations
• Supervise civil maintenance activities related to buildings, facilities, furniture, and infrastructure.
• Ensure maintenance procedures are properly executed according to company standards.
• Monitor maintenance quality and ensure facilities remain in safe and operational condition.
Inspection & Problem Solving
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, structures, and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Investigate maintenance issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure identified defects are addressed promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
Resource & Material Management
• Monitor stock levels of maintenance materials and spare parts required for civil maintenance activities.
• Support technical evaluations and recommendations for new equipment, materials, and maintenance methods.
• Ensure effective utilization of maintenance resources to optimize costs and performance.
Monitoring & Performance Control
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation.
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Track maintenance performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and facility reliability.
• Evaluate new maintenance techniques and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support initiatives that improve safety, cost control, and service quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in civil maintenance, facility maintenance, or infrastructure maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, construction materials, and repair techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
