CEO, Textile Business (Beirut, Lebanon)
What This Role Is About
Our client, a regional group with operations across the Levant, is looking for a CEO to lead the build-out and operations of a vertically integrated textile and agricultural processing business, based in Beirut, Lebanon.
This is a founding leadership role. You will take this business from feasibility through to full commercial operations, owning the vision, the strategy, and the execution from day one.
You will be responsible for conducting the initial feasibility study, establishing agricultural and processing operations across the region, and developing the full vertical integration roadmap from raw material sourcing through to finished output.
You will also play a key role in building and leading the senior team, managing government and stakeholder relationships across the Levant, identifying commercial off-take partners, and positioning the business for long-term regional growth.
The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit
- Minimum 15 years of experience in textile manufacturing or agri-industrial operations, with deep knowledge of the full value chain from raw material through to processed output.
- Proven track record of leading a greenfield or startup operation, including feasibility studies and factory or facility setup.
- Strong CEO or leadership experience with full P&L ownership.
- Comfortable building structure and making decisions in a frontier or high-growth emerging market environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across government bodies, farming communities, and commercial partners.
